5 eye masks you can do at home

These days we spend most of our time on the screen at home, we need to pay extra attention to our eyes. You can revitalize your eyes with 5 recipes that you can prepare with the ingredients in your kitchen. Irmak Pelteko─člu explained the masks he tried and got results.

1 – Cucumber soothing mask

Cucumber removes swelling and redness in the eyes while moisturizing the skin. For this mask, dip two slices of cucumber in rose water and leave it on your eyes for 10 minutes. Rose water, which has a soothing effect, softens your skin while moisturizing it.

2 – Avocado moisturizing mask

We all know that avocado is rich in fat. Likewise, aloe vera is a gel that we all use to soothe our skin, especially in the summer. To prepare this mask, mix 1/4 crushed avocado and 1/4 cup aloe vera gel in a bowl. Wait 10 minutes after applying to your under eyes and rinse with warm water. You will find that your under eye is more moist.

3 – Potato illuminating mask

This mask is the easiest to prepare, but one of the most noticeable effects. All you need is two slices of potato. After keeping the potatoes on your eyes for about 20 minutes, you will see how much it illuminates your eyes thanks to the Vitamin C it contains.

4 – Coffee moisturizing mask

After mixing 1 teaspoon of finely ground coffee and 1 teaspoon of honey until it becomes a paste, apply it under your eyes and wait. After waiting 20 minutes, clean with cotton and warm water. A mixture of coffee with purifying and fine anti-wrinkle properties and honey with anti-bacterial and moisturizing properties will moisturize your skin while brightening it.

5 – Tone equalizing mask from tea and rosehip oil

For this mask, which is very easy to prepare, all you need to do is put two green tea bags in a mug and prepare tea! You can use hot or cold water for this. However, if you are going to use hot water, make sure that it cools well without putting tea bags in your eyes. Green tea is effective in reducing under-eye bruises and bags. With a few drops of rosehip seed oil that you will drip into after you prepare the tea, you can ensure that your mask has properties that support moisturizing and collagen production. Leave the tea bags in the mixture where you add rosehip seed oil for 10 minutes and let them cool down. After making sure it is cool, place it on your eyes and wait 20 minutes. You will see the dark circles around your eyes light up.
