RECYCLED PLANTERS WITH CAT SHAPE
Do you have bottles at home? Have you got a couple of leftovers and are in your recycling center waiting to take them to the yellow container? Well, rescue them right away, that we are going to make a craft that you sure like a lot, especially the little ones, and we are going to kill two birds with one stone: we spent a very fun afternoon and we recycled on top of that, that always comes in handy good. With the plastic bottles, we are going to make some beautiful cat-shaped planter boxes. Really!
HOW TO MAKE FLOWERPOTS WITH PLASTIC BOTTLES
The main materials for our recycled planter with bottles are:
- Plastic bottles, effectively one for each planter
- Some scissors to cut with the feline shape
- Spray paint to make it more comfortable
- A permanent black marker for details
- A couple of plants that want a new house
In addition to being very pretty, this plastic bottle craft is relatively easy to come by. How do we start? Well, we can draw the silhouette of the cat with the black marker on the bottle. The two keys to getting the kitty are pointy ears and a long tail that extends upward. Once the silhouette is marked, we can proceed to cut our animal with scissors.
Our bottle will be very clean and we will have let it dry, right? Now that we have it cut out, we have to paint it inside. Spray paint will help us go faster and we can give you two passes. When it has dried, we can complete the kitty details with a black marker: whiskers, nose, and eyes are essential, but if you want something more professional, scratch the cat and don’t forget to brush over its ears.
Then you just have to move the plants to their new home and … voila! You will have two curious cat-shaped planters to decorate any part of your house and you will have made a beautiful recycled craft showing the child that things have a second life
