ESSENCE OF YOUR HOME
Beyond four walls that take shape and life as you fill them, your house is you. In it, your way of being and understanding of life is projected. Therefore, to find the essence of your home you must focus on everything that makes you happy.
This little gesture will help you disconnect, relax, entertain yourself, in short, to be happier, and feel more fulfilled. Also, you will create a unique, authentic space full of personality.
THE ESSENCE OF YOUR HOME
Have you already discovered what makes you feel good? What is it that you want to spend time with when you are at home? Find him a special place in your home to enjoy it. The essence of your house is that pinch of magic and one of the secrets to be comfortable in it.
A lack of concern for the mundane, a mix of cultures, concern for nature, artistic inspiration, spirituality, and the search for the authentic self are some pillars of the bohemian world, perfectly reflected in its decorative style.
If you can’t wait to get settled on the floor and engage in transcendental readings and revealing meditations with the smell of incense, you already need a space like this. The keys? A loving carpet, fluffy cushions, garlands of lights, and various blankets.
SOUL OF HOSTS
If what makes you happy is organizing lunches, snacks, dinners (or whatever) with your family or friends, what you need is a space to comfortably enjoy those moments. A table to which to add varied chairs is a good idea to create a happy and dynamic environment.
As a suggestion, fondues always succeed. Here you will find everything you need to know to organize one. And if you are looking for a good dessert as a colophon, those presented in glasses are a great solution.
THE ENGINE THAT MOVES YOU
Music is one of my sources of inspiration for whatever! To inspire me, to daydream, to exercise, to cook, to gain confidence, to put the batteries… Although at present other formats or devices have appeared where to listen to music, vinyl will always be vinyl.
Keeping them in good condition and in an accessible area (as in this house that invites calm) is as practical as it is decorative. An interesting tour of the soundtrack of your life.
GREEN I LOVE YOU GREEN
Living in a big city is not an impediment to enjoy the freshness of nature. Don’t you have a garden nearby? Create your own. An urban garden on the terrace, some aromatic in the kitchen, or some cacti in the living room will bring out the planter you have inside. And if you have a garden, go ahead and build a shed (remember this post?).
A ROSE AND A CARNATION
We always talk about how ephemeral the beauty of the flower. As with autumn leaves, there are various methods to continue enjoying them when they have already lost their freshness.
In addition to being very creative and satisfying, the drying process of the flowers is very relaxing. Selecting them, thinking about what you are going to do with them, and carrying them out will help you disconnect from the madding crowd.
A plant guide, bookmarks, some bouquets for the bathroom, a romantic decoration… do you want more ideas to decorate with flowers?
WITH THESE HANDS
In addition to making us spend a lot of fun with the little ones, crafts help to explore and unleash the creativity (and many emotions) that you have inside.
Are you DIY meat? Without a doubt, you need a place for it, accepting that when you believe it is impossible to have it impeccable. It is fine if you use a common space (such as the dining table) with the available material nearby and well organized. There are other possibilities such as folding tables that can be fixed to the wall.
Of course, if you work with paints, varnishes, or other types of products that can go, always protect the furniture. To create!
If you feel like Agatha Christie, Charlotte Brontë, or JK Rowling, do not hesitate and write. Write down everything you can think of at that precise moment because inspiration is somewhat capricious.
Writing is one of the hobbies that the least space and needs imply: a comfortable table and chair (very important or you will leave your back in the attempt) and a bookshelf for books, reference works, notebooks, and folders in which to treasure your erasers and writings. And of course, some silence so you can focus and read aloud.
If you dedicate a space in your house to eat, another to sleep, another to the toilet, how can you not dedicate it to what makes you happy? Discovering what you really like will help you find the essence of your home (and your own).
